When is Ostara?

Ostara is celebrated at the spring equinox, which is sometime between the 20th and the 23rd of March each year. The actual spring equinox may or may not coinside with the date on the regular calandar, so it is a good idea to always check a witch's calendar to be sure.

The Old Religion:

The Christian Easter is based on the same principles as Ostara in the pagans Old Religion. Remember that paganism has been around longer than Christianity. Even the origins of the egg hunt are pre-Christian.
